The Pemble Family
Sometimes when I'm shooting I get a little distracted. I'm sorry, I have to admit it. It's the babies, those cute little babies!! You know the ones. They can't help but woo you with their adorable smiles and big eyes. Thankfully, it is alright for me to get a little distracted with these darling little ones, most adults would much rather have me take the kid's picture than their own. This was the case with the Pemble Family. They were all so kind and wonderful and didn't mind a bit when I obsessed over their newest addition. Here are some of my favorites.
First, a shot of the little girl who stole my heart.
Yes, I did manage to get some family shots too:) I love images that don't always involve everyone smiling at the camera.
Cute!
And, back to the baby.
Aw, love the reflection.
Pretty! Love the eyes.
The light was just right at Gardner Park that afternoon.
Back to the baby! She was such a great poser.
Could she get any cuter!
Umm, love everything about this image!
Last but not least, the siblings.
Thanks for a great afternoon at the park guys!

It's off to the Track!
Andy joined bike racing about a month ago and his obsession keeps growing. We are lucky enough to live near the BMX track so we go quite often. Jack, our three year old, is really loving it too. We told him he'd have to wait till his training wheels came off before we'd consider putting him in. Needless to say, he didn't need any encouragement, the training wheels came off this Sunday and he's been riding like a pro ever since. We went to the track tonight, for about the fourth time this week, and I decided to bring the camera. It's not too often you catch a three year old without training wheels! I know, I'm a bit of a proud parent. I can't help it! I am truly enjoying my boys. Being their mom is about the most amazing thing I could ever do. I am so blessed!
I only took about a million picture so here are just a "few".
I love how both of them stick their tongue out when they are concentrating! Oh, and check out the air Andy got over this bump;P
Andy was very helpful and without encouragement. Here he is pushing Jack's bike up for him. Awe, make a parent proud!
And this is Jack's response to hearing we were headed home. Doesn't make a parent so proud;)
Andy was just excited to head home for some food!

Baby Corey
It's always a treat when I get to photograph the child of former wedding clients. This handsome little boy was born to Michelle and Mike who were married last July 5th. No, it was not a shotgun wedding but this little guy did arrive about 10 months after their big day:) Way to get crackin' guys!
Here's a photo of the cute couple.
And this is the darling little man they now are parents to.
Thanks for bringing him by the studio guys! Enjoy parenting:)

Joe, Sheila and the boys
I had another terrific weekend shooting portraits and now I really need to catch upon the blogging!
I spent some time with these very special people on Friday. I've know Sheila for about 2 years and she is one of the most kindhearted people I've ever met. I was super happy to spend the afternoon with her and her adorable family. She and I both have two boys who were born close together so we often commiserate and help each other through the trials and tribulations of motherhood.
When I went to their farm I already had an idea of what I wanted to capture. I love photographing people in their "natural" environment. This allows me to show a little glimpse into their real life. These next two pictures are my absolute favorite for that reason. This is how their lives have been since having their second, 15 months after having their first. And, this is how Andrew and I live our lives too so I can't help but smile at how these images really tell it like it is. We are busy running after the little ones while still trying to hold on to one another.
In the midst of all the running we had a little fun. As you can see this little man loved it.
Up, Up! Again!
We took a little break from the sun to capture these images. I love this shot because it really tells a story. Yeah, my foot is neat ! Ummm... what is that crazy lady with the camera trying to do?!
Some great smiles too!
And the cute mommy and daddy!
I'll be posting some more on the Facebook group so be sure and check those out too.

Jenn & Jarad - Engagement Part Two
As promised, more pictures of the fabulous Jenn and Jarad. I so love it when plan comes together (A-team fans, take note of the quote)! When we scheduled this session the plan was to change the date if the weather didn't cooperate. A few prayers to The Man Upstairs and we had our wishes granted, times two. The sun was shining and almost better than that, the skies were painted with the most beautiful clouds. Poor Jenn and Jarad got a work out following me here and there and had the pleasure of listening to me oh and ah at them the whole time. What can I say, I love my job people!
Jarad, Jenn and I go way back to the days when Jarad and I both worked in Chilliwack. When he contacted me through my Facebook Group I was super excited to do their wedding. They are a cute, fun loving couple who are so easy to get along with. I hope you enjoy their images!
Great smiles!
Great ring too!
What did I tell you about the skies! Love it!
Here's that little cutie Winnie again.
Jenn and Jarad have this little thing they do. If they are ever in a store that carries toys, Jenn beelines it for the light sabers. I love how mature they are, they fit right in with me!
A little romantic roll in the sand.
Winnie, the cutie.
Ah, oooh, ah....love it!
Awe!
I love living in BC (just not when it rains), couldn't ask for better views.
The handsome Jarad.
And the stunning Jenn.
Time to put on the sunglasses and rock it.
Ummm, yummy:)
Can't wait for the wedding!!!
