Dori & Marvin - 08.08.09 - Part One

Another amazing day, another reason to be thankful I have the best job in the world! Dori and Marvin chose a beautiful setting for their photography and ceremony and God provided the amazing lighting. Great combination! We started the day with the formals so here is your sneak peek! How hot are these two!? I had to post this image, which I think might be my favorite. The bride's Aunt and Uncle own Sweet Dreams Luxury Inn in Abbotsford and we were lucky enough to use the interior of the venue for some photos and have the ceremony on the grounds. Wonderful location that I highly recommend!

Dan & Natalie - 07.08.09 - Part One

I always do this to myself. Decide I'll do a quick post and then choose a million pictures and have to narrow it down. I'm going to try and make this short and sweet because I have another wedding to prepare for today. Fun!

Here are a few of Dan and Natalie's big day. We had such a terrific time gallivanting about the city and I can't wait to share more details about this beautiful affair, but that will have to wait for another post.

The couple opted for a First Look, when they get the chance to see each other before the ceremony, and I think it turned out beautifully!







Natalie had this great idea to do her wedding formals inside the new Vancouver Convention Center. They don't just let anyone do this but Natalie had some ins because she works across the street. Thanks Natalie!! You really know how to make your photographers happy:)

A special shout out to the sassy bridesmaid Helen. She just had a baby boy... 8 weeks ago!! What an amazing friend. Also props go to the groomsman Gary who had no trouble striking a pose:)

Lily & Duncan - Abbotsford Children Photographer

I'm up late again because of beautiful children. Tonight I caught up with an old friend from high school who wanted to have some photos of her gorgeous kids. Now here I am at my computer, when I should be getting ready for bed! I really can't help myself, I had to share some of these images. I had it narrowed down to 17....I'll have to work a bit harder!

You know it's going to be a good session when the second image you take looks like this. Cute kids who do cute things = happy photographer.



This little man was amazing!! He would start fussing and all mommy had to do was start talking to him and out would pop his charming smile.

We had to work a little to get some shots of the two of them but they were sure sweet.



My job is really to play with kids. It's really tough;)

This was mommy's great idea. She hid behind the tree holding Duncan so he could stand.

Samantha Turns Eight!

It's time once again for birthday pictures of my niece. I'm a couple weeks late because it's the busy season but I've been looking forward to this session for a while! I love having a little girl time with Sam and Alyssa. They like to travel together so I always include each of them. Their little sister Keziah was in front of my camera a couple weeks ago so I have to show some of those too:)

We ran around town to a few places I've been wanting to try. We started out at this teal door. I'm all about teal right now! The girls are all about the laughs!

Kelly & Dustin - Part Three

As promised, more from Kelly and Dustin's big day. Here are just a few from the fabulous reception. It was pouring rain for half the night but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits. What a fun night!

The speeches were absolutely amazing. There were many, many laughs and tears. Here's the grooms parents who had the crowd in stitches.
