There is something about this time of year. I can't put my finger on it but when I get outside on a day like today I feel complete. It was beautiful and the kids were happy to be playing outside. We took a walk around Fish Trap park and I focused my camera on Jack because he is less cooperative than Andy and I don't have as many shots of him. I love the two at the top! The sunset was off our balcony. I am feeling so blessed right now:)

Today is Jack's second birthday and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Two years ago at this exact time Andrew, Jack and I were all lying around in the living room resting after going through labour that morning at 4am. It was such a beautiful day and I remember not being able to sleep although I was exhausted. I kept checking the little guy as he snoozed peacefully beside me in his car carrier. He had fallen asleep on the way home from the hospital in it and we never move him out till feeding time. Andy joined us later in the evening after spending the day with Auntie Sarah, Uncle Jeff and the girls. He was very enthralled with his baby and wanted to poke him all the time. Ahh....the best days of my life are because of my children:) Here are some photos of our little party. I hope Jack will always know how special he is to me. I will always make a big deal of my children's birthdays because they mark the best days of my life.
