Ashley & Scott Engagement Part three - Abbotsford Wedding Photographer

I never do three posts for an engagement session but why not break the rules. As I was busy finishing up these images today, I ran across a few more I wanted to share. Blame it on the cutie pie couple who's photos made me smile. I just couldn't resist.

Abbotsford Maternity Photographer

Here are a few anonymous photos of a beautiful lady who came to the studio to have some maternity portraits taken. I really enjoy capturing this special time in people's lives. Thanks for letting me share these, lovely lady.

Ashley & Scott Engagement Part two- Abbotsford Wedding Photographer

Ashley and Scott suggested we hit up the quaint little town of Fort Langley for their engagement session and I jumped at the idea. I've been there many times before and know it offers a variety of venues. We took two hours and still didn't cover the whole town. Here are just a few more from our adventures.

Trash the Dress - Abbotsford Wedding Photographer

I had a fantastic time with Melissa this weekend. After she saw the session we did last weekend she emailed and told me she wanted to get her dress dirty too. Be careful what you wish for because boy oh boy, did we ever get it dirty!

Photo Contest Winners

Oops, it's been a while since I've posted. I've been enjoying a little quiet time with the family and haven't been behind the computer as much as usual. This session was a great way to get back into the swing of things. Warning, this will be an extremely long post. There were five wonderful "models" who participated and we ended up with a lot of photos.

We started off at a funky building I've been driving past for a while now. It has always caught my eye and I was excited to play around with it. The owner of the place ended up being there and was so kind and inviting. Thanks Peter!

As usual, teal buildings are one of my favorite things. This bride and groom are also some of my favorite people to photograph. What a great combination! Thanks Kelly and Dustin.

Next up we have Vanessa. She was a total supermodel and brought both beauty and funkiness to the shoot.

Last but not least we have Chelsea and David, another fabulous and gorgeous couple. Rusty and unusual backgrounds, bring them on!

Off to the farm!

Vanessa was our daring bride who didn't flinch at the site of this muddy creek.

Love the light in the next few images.

I have to say, I was expecting a cold and rainy February day complete with mud and muck. Funny thing happened, it was warm and beautiful! I actually had to spend a little time looking for some mud to play in. Here's Vanessa taking a mud bath in our little spot of dirt.

Thanks to all the fantastic participants; Eileen Whitmore of Silver Skies Photography, Luke and Carlee of Timeless Captures Photography, Vina Fuson of Vina's Photography , Tracy Vleeming, Cecilia Flaming. Models Vanessa Wiebe, Chelsea & David Jenkins and Kelly & Dustin Swann.
