Adventures in Rupert

Finally I have a quick chance to do a little bloggin'. We've had a very busy month traveling all over BC to visit friends and family. Here are some of my favorite shots from our adventures. This is the first picture I took. We had just boarded our ferry heading for the island and the boys were looking out the window to see if they could see the water below. Our ferry left at 6am and it was still dark out so they couldn't see much but they were excited none the less. Don't you wish you could travel in cute little sleepers like theirs?!
One of the first things we saw when we drove into Prince Rupert was the store advertised above. You know it rains a lot when a whole store is devoted to rain gear!

After we arrived we headed for the shoreline because "if it's not raining in Rupert you must get out"! Here's Auntie Brenda with the boys enjoying a rainless moment:)

There is sun in the background!!Caught a quick shot of the harbor.
Andrew is showing the boys how to listen to railway tracks...or something like that?? Huh, guys... the train is right there!!

My beautiful friend!

The "older" boys ran ahead of us to check our the amazing scene below. Apparently bald eagles like to hang out near the fish factory and you can see tons of them flying about. There were at least 10 and someone was throwing meat into the water for them to dive after. There were also at least 15 photographers and it seamed a 2.5 70-200mm lens was a must....everyone had one but me...I was only equipped with my 17-55 :( Oh well...I much prefer human subjects anyway:)
Our "big" boys went on a little adventure of their own and Brenda and I were left at home alone to spoil the "little" boys. We baked cupcakes, played at an amazing play group, rode a bus for fun and swam our butts off. So much fun!! Here's a little baking action. My boys favorite time....tasting time!
Wanna KISS??!!When the "big" boys got back from the Queen Charlotte Islands we took off on yet another dry day for a wiener roast but the ocean.
Is Andrew actually smiling for a photo??? Here's our lovely hosts.
My sons being cute.Andy found "the biggest sea onion ever" and was very proud of it.So there is half our fabulous trip to Rupert. I'll continue the adventure next post:)
