Shelley Gossett & Family

I had a lovely family in the studio the other day. We took a few family portraits as well as some corporate shots. Here are some favorites.

Shelley Gossett is a local Real Estate agent and I would highly recommend her. She is not only extremely hard working but incredibly kind and personable. Check out her site here and contact her if you are selling or buying a home. You won't regret it!
Doesn't she look fantastic! She also has fantastic style.
Here are the two men in her life, her son and husband.
And last but not least, her lovely daughter & boyfriend.

Thressa's Grad - Part Two

As promised, here are some more images of the grad session done this last weekend. The weather was so fantastic I could hardly believe it. I was in a t-shirt and warm. I'm missing the sunshine already.

I love the way these images turned out. The colours are perfect!

The poor girl, I made her spin a millions times. As you can see, she was very good at it!

Aidan & Nadia Cute Kid Session

Yesterday an old friend of mine dropped by for a session with her super cute kids. Wow, what a lucky photographer I am! Not only are they adorable but they were fantastic little posers too!
A photographer's dream. Here are some favorites.

I wish I could show you all the photos of this little doll. I couldn't get a bad image. I had all the shots I needed of her in the first 3 minutes! Of course that didn't mean I stopped taking pictures;) I couldn't help myself!

She really loves her big brother and he was great with her.
He was goofy and fun.

Stunning!

We came back to the studio for a couple more shots.
I love that she's sticking out her tongue. Too funny!
Thanks for coming by guys! I had a great time with you.

My Little Boys in Pajamas

If you follow my blog often you'll notice this trend I have. I will work with a bunch of clients and focus all my photographic energy on them and then I will have this overwhelming desire to photograph my own kiddies. Today was one of those days. I felt drawn to my camera and my kids. I just grabbed a few snap shots before I sent them off to bed. Take note for all you camera buffs out there, these are not "photoshopped" images. They are just that darn cute!!
(okay, I do have a fantastic camera and that helps a little)

I can't actually take "Sears" type images of my kids. You know, the ones where they are posed stiffly and smiling pretentiously at the camera?! They are just not those type of children;)

MONKEY!
My favorite for sure! Cracks me up! A little Elvis I think.Okay, this is kinda Sears. I will mention that the reason he is smiling is because he was just given permission to tickle me. He was about to pounce!
This is Jack being bounced on my knees. You can see them at the bottom of the picture.
This is his favorite funny face.Giving me the eye.
Ahh, he has no teeth! This is the face he's be giving us when we want to take his picture. He thinks he's smiling;)
And now a real smile, dimples and all!I so love my boys!

My Baby Turns Five

I knew this day would come but it has come too fast. I'm not quite ready for my little man to turn into a "big boy". There is something about turning five that makes him seem so big. I can't pretend he's still a toddler and carry him around on my hip but thank goodness he still loves to snuggle.

I love you so much Andy and I'm so proud to be your "momma"...at least for a little while longer....I know you'll be using the word "Mom" more often as time goes by.

Here are a few shots from the party we had for him at McDonalds.

He is all about the super heroes.
Three of his lovely cousins helped open the girts. They were quite organized...girls ya know;)

Model Time

A friend asked me for a little help with a photography class she is teaching at UFV. She needed a model and some lighting. I came through with the lighting but I couldn't bring myself to go in front of a million cameras. I am such a chicken! I ran into this lovley lady a few weeks ago and because she was such was natural in front of the camera, I asked her to be the brave one. She did fantastic too!

Here are just a few images taken of the lovely Natalie.
