Another Camping Trip

We when on another camping trip this weekend with our "Camping Buddies" Jeff, Sarah, Samantha and Alyssa. This time we traveled about a half hour out of Merritt to a little lake called Bluey Lake. If you asked me they should have called it greeny lake as you see from the pictures below. All in all it was a nice little camp site and the kids had a wonderful time even with the rain on the last day.

Andy and Jack both LOVE the water and it's hard to get them to stay out of Mill Lake. Andy almost dove right off this dock.




The kids spent a lot of time at this bridge throwing rocks and pennies into the water.

I actually had them sitting for 5 seconds so I could take a shot with the two of them together and looking at the camera. It did take about 3 quick shots to get it though:)

The Park WEEK

I've been working a lot lately and been missing fun time with the kiddies. So, this week we have been to at least one or two parks almost everyday. FUN! Me with camera in hand and the kids with plenty of smiles. When it's just the three of us I always let Andy lead the way and the adventures are never ending. We usually end up exploring places most kids don't even know exists. I love Andy's inquisitive ways:) Here are a few of the shots...

Ice Cream Anyone?

For those Camera buffs out there.....Have I mentioned how much I love my new 2.8 17-55Lens??!! Love not using flash indoors and having a bit of a zoom. I still adore my 1.8 85mm and that's what I was using for the shots of Rhaelea before. Dreaming of the 1.4 I've heard about though....there will never be enough camera equipment in my collection.

Rhaelea and Us

Today we spent the day with Rhaelea and Cody at the park. Of course, I couldn't resist the opportunity to take some photos of the beautiful children.


I also had to make Rhaelea and Cody model for me. They are much more cooperative than Andy and Jack
