Jenn & Jarad - Engagement - Part One

Cute couple and perfect weather, wow am I lucky! I had such a great time with Jenn and Jarad at Harrision. We started out our little adventure on the dock and I just have time to post a few images. I have a ton more I love so I promise to post some soon.

I was so excited to have their "baby" Winnie join the session. More of her to come later too. I just love Jenn's laugh here!

Ummmm....I will not get a bad photo out of these hotties:)

If this is a sign of how the wedding will go, I can hardly wait! :)

Mother's Day

I had the best Mother's Day with my family last weekend. It started out perfect because the sun was shinning and it just got better from there. Andrew, the boys and I took a little walk down some railway tracks. They boys loved this and did what they usually do and got very dirty. I would love to use this location for a session someday.

Photobucket

Andy and Jack were quite thrilled to find some metal railway pegs. They started a collection that soon got to big for them to carry.
Photobucket

Jack got busy working on the railway. As you can see, he took it very seriously:)

Photobucket

Andrew had a camera for a little while and he's artistic side came out too! I love this shot.

Photobucket

I loved this bridge! Very rustic.
Photobucket

Of course I had to stop the family for a group shot. As usual, the camera is perched precariously while I run into the shot. The colours were beautiful!

Photobucket

We stopped for a little wiener & marshmallow roast by the river.

Now I am being pestered by my oldest boy to go play so I must run.....I love being a mommy;)

Chelsea & David - Part Three

Brace yourself, this is going to be a long post. I just couldn't help it! There were too many pictures I loved....I guess that's a good thing.

Here's a sneaky shot taken during the first prayer and between the groomsmen. I absolutely love it.
Photobucket
I really liked this old bible too.
Photobucket
Chelsea and David were all smiles throughout the whole day. They were such a joy to be around.

Photobucket
Happily ever after, here we come!
Photobucket
For me, great photography is about two things, good lighting (the most important) and followed by a close second, great locations. We had both and it made for an amazing photo session. Did I mention that Dave is a pilot? How cool is an Airport to shoot at?!
Now the only question is, do you like it vintage or full colour?
Photobucket

Photobucket
The clouds were perfect and the bridal party were so much fun!
Photobucket
As we drove in Tamara and I noticed this cool wall. Thankfully, the bride and groom were happy to oblige our artsy side.
Photobucket
Pretty!
Photobucket
Dave was great model too.
Photobucket
The wind put on a great show with the veil.
Photobucket
After that great location you'd think it couldn't get any better but I was wrong. We hit up Chelsea's bosses beautiful farm for some more fun.
Photobucket
The boys were very funny but his shot shows their more serious side.
Photobucket
And it's always fun to make people run!
Photobucket
I think fields are probably my favorite places to shoot and David and Chelsea looked stunning walking among the dandelions.
Photobucket
A little romance now.
Photobucket
Guys, you were wonderful to work with! Can't wait to show you the rest of the images.

Wendy & Tyler - Engagement Session

Another sunny weekend, another fabulous session! Wendy, Tyler and I met at Mill Lake to capture some fun engagement shots. Here are some favorites.

Wendy has beautiful eyes and it didn't take much for me to convince Tyler, it's all about her!
They wanted some images in front of the old MSA museum and, the area is so beautiful this time of year, they turned out great!
Too cute!
I love this shot!
And this one too:)
And a few kissing shots too.

Thanks for a great morning guys! I'm looking forward to your wedding!

Jenn - 1940 Pin-up Style

How fun is this! Jenn (a former baby sitter of mine) had this fantastic idea for a photo session. Inspired by 1940s pin-ups, she donned a cute little cherry covered dress, for some photos for her man on their anniversary. Love this shot!

Her very inspired mother had this fantastic bubble idea. Remember the commercial & song "I'm forever blowing bubbles"? Here's our take on that. I figure if Dove can have girls clad in bubbles in a commercial, I can have them on my site too;)

Thanks for a fun morning ladies!

Chelsea & David - Part Two

I finally have time to get some more images up from this wedding. I've been going non-stop and it shows no signs of slowing down. Fun!

Here are some of the pre-ceremony shots. Love this ring.
Chelsea looking pretty.
I know, it's very creative;)
I had a lot of fun with mirrors this wedding.
Ah, the dress. You know I love the dress!

I loved the spring colours Chelsea picked!
Here is some more fun with mirrors.
More images to come in a week or so.
