Nikki - Grad

I had the chance to photograph this stunning grad earlier today. She was a great sport and didn't complain a bit when I made her walk through some questionable fields, complete with bugs, prickly plants and donkeys. Yes, donkeys! One of my fantastic assistants, Eileen, took a break from the camera to babysit my kids, and yes, the donkeys. Eileen and the boys fed the animals so they wouldn't intrude on our photo session. I think it was well worth the adventure to shoot in this unique location. Thanks Eileen!

Here is the beautiful Nikki!

Tim, Lani & Lily - Family Portraits

I was so excited when I received a phone call from Lani a few weeks back. You see, I just took her wedding photos last August and now she and her husband are expecting number two! We had a great time taking some photos at their family farm. I was also super excited to see their little girl again because she is an absolute doll! Here are some favorites.

We basically played the whole night away.

The lovely Lani.

Isn't she amazingly cute!!

Photobucket

And some more cuteness!

Photobucket

She loved her little red wheel barrow and it turned into a fantastic prop.

And here is her daddy's favorite prop:)

We did a few more shots of the belly.

Photobucket

And I love this one!

Photobucket

I was really enjoying the buttercup fields. It was a fantastic location!

Photobucket

Beautiful!

Last but not least, a little fun in the sun.

Thanks Tim, Lani and Lily for the fun evening! Looking forward to meeting your new addition in a few months!

Analeigh & Trenton - Kids

Is there anything better than a squishy six month old baby?! I believe not. Here's the proof in little Analeigh. I just love her to pieces:) I've been taking pictures of her family for a few years now and it's always a pleasure.

Photobucket

Ummm, toes:)

Photobucket

And her big brother came too. Handsome little man!

Photobucket

And I do so love the buttercup fields! Really, if you don't like fields with flowers you should not hire me as your photographer!

Photobucket

So pretty! I love it when little girls get their ears pierced. Andrew and I talked about doing this before we even had kids. God gave us boys so I guess I'll just admire Analeigh's!

Photobucket

Having some fun with mommy!

Photobucket

After some fun with the little one I chased after Trenton.

Photobucket

I do so love the baby blues!

See you guys for more photos in the fall!

Lynda & Bob - 30th Anniversary

I had such a great time with this lovely couple last night. When Lynda and I first met a few weeks back to plan this session, I knew it would be a great one. Lynda had a vision for what she was looking for and I loved her ideas. I immediately thought of the Mission Abby when she described her thoughts and it worked out fantastic.

After being together for thirty years, this couple still knows how to make each other laugh. They were a fun and relaxed couple to photograph and I really enjoyed our time together. Here are some favorites.

My Family - Mom's Birthday

I've been so busy I haven't had time to post a few images from my mom's surprise party. My dad was very sneaky and planned this little gathering a few months ago. He knew there was nothing my mother would like better than to have her kids come see her on her special day. As you can see by the images, she was very surprised and happy!

There were lots of little hands to help with the gifts.
And two cakes!
I had to post this one. We caught the kids actually playing nice together!
Last but not least a family photo. Take note, I am an awful photographer when it comes to my own family! It's much harder when you have to set the self timer, run into the photo AND you have the most badly behaved child in the group. We only managed to get four shots before it all came apart. I usually take about forty images in the time it took to capture the few I did. If you look at the left corner you'll see my "adorable" Jack with his face down and tears streaming. Ummm....maybe I should hire a professional next time! Good advice I'd say! Hope next time we can have a family reunion in the Valley where I know about twenty great ones!
