Tricia & Rudy - Part Three

I have a few more images to share from last weekend's wedding. I am having such a great time editing and wish I could share them all:)

Another dress shot because I am all about the dress.
I picked up a 60mm Macro lens and I'm loving the clarity it gives me. Check out the rings.
And the lovely bride. I have to say that Tricia is one of those people you can't help but love. She is beautiful inside and out and I had such an amazing time getting to know her.
We had a little crazy weather as you'll see from the next few images. It would pour rain and then the sun would pop out. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were excellent sports and let me drag them around in the mud. Thanks guys!
The pretty ladies! At one point we had to run for cover in the milking barns. It made for this great shot. I can get inspired almost anywhere:)
Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun:) Love this!
I will post some more in the next week so check back!

Rebecca & Victor - Engagement

It's Spring, Yeah! I have finally found the flowers I've been looking for this past month. Is it me or have they been dreadfully slow showing up this year?! So glad to have the warm weather and blue skies back again, even if they come intermittently. No better way to celebrate Spring then with a flower filled engagement session. Here are some images from a session yesterday.

This lovely couple is getting married in July and my good friend Tamara from Beyond Exposure has asked me to join her for their big day. Enjoy the flowers;)
Having some fun with my new 24-70mm 2.8. Love this shot!
Cute!

I had some time to hide behind bushes and get these shots;)

Yeah, I know, pretty is an understatement!
Last but not least. They did a lot of laughing and it was a ton of fun. Looking forward to the big day guys!!

Chatnee & Ron - Part Three

I've been busy, busy, busy editing all the images from this week and man to I have to say, I love Lightroom! Sorry to all you non-photographers for the shop talk, but I have to tell the world how much I love it. It's making my work flow so much quicker. Needless to say, my software upgrade could not have come at a better time! Now I am able to post more images quicker which is good for me and for you!

Here are some more from my day in Harrison. I think I mentioned this before but this whole wedding party was a blast to work with. These shots were taken along the path beside the hotel.

She is beautiful!
Catching some flare.

The decor at the reception was perfect.

They claimed they couldn't dance but they had me fooled!Gotta love it when they use their teeth to take off the garter.
Thanks again Ron and Chatnee for including me in your fantastic wedding!

Rudy & Tricia - Part Two

Here are just a few more from yesterday's wedding. The bride and groom opted to do photos before the ceremony and therefore we arranged this special first look.
It was a beautiful moment.
And then the rain came but thank goodness for this cute balcony we were able to use.
The wedding ceremony took place at Living Hope Reform church in Abbotsford and it was a stunning sanctuary.
Last but not least, here is an images of the little ring bearer holding the ring pillow. He was so good!
I promise there are a bunch more fantastic images I will be posting in the next couple weeks!

Chatnee & Ron - Part Two

It's going to be another one of those weddings, you know, the type of wedding I blog a million images of because I can't narrow it down to just a few. I guess it's a good problem to have!

Here are some shots of the guy getting ready. They were a blast to hang out with, nothing but laughs the whole day.

A few of the bride shortly before the ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful! The outside decor was done by the grooms "Aunt Pat" and she did a great job!
Ring exchange.
I love this shot.
After the ceremony we took advantage of the hotel lobby before heading outdoors. The bride and groom gladly hopped on this copper piano for some awesome images.
I love shooting in locations like these. This is so my style! The landscape was perfect and the weather couldn't have been better. You can get some amazing images with just the right clouds.
See what I mean about clouds!? LOVE IT!
It also helps when you have a cute couple like this!
They were so affectionate with each other it was easy to see they were in love.
The girls, Cheryl, Devon and Julia were so much fun! Thanks Ladies:)
Awe!
I'll probably post some more images in the next week or so. Thanks to Ron and Chatnee for a wonderful day and making my job such a blast! Congratulations!

Chatnee & Ron - April 14th, 2009 - Part One

She had the dress, he had the tux and the guests arrived....on a Tuesday, yes, a Tuesday. And what a great Tuesday for a wedding! I'm thinking of offering discounts to brides and grooms as smart as this couple;) It was such a perfect day at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort and we didn't have to wrestle with traffic and tourists because, as you know, it was a Tuesday! As you can tell we had a great time and I can only post a couple images right now. I promise more to come.

PS I'm in love with these shoes! Great taste Chatnee!
Yeah, I know, stunning!
